 At my time of life ?  With <I>this </I>level of fitness ?</div> <bR> <div> Easy - I work with a guy called Dave Wheable.  Dave is married to Sue.  Sue has cancer.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG SRC="069d2b40.gif" border=0 width="210" height="180" ALT="Bitmap Image" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">     Sue and her cat.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> Simple facts, huge problem.  Not the cancer.  Although that's bad enough.  If Sue lived 30 miles west of her home in Manchester, she would receive a new treatment called Herceptin on the NHS.  This would increase both her life expectancy and her quality of life.  Living in Manchester, Sue is being treated at Christies who have been (in Dave's own words) "bloody marvelous".  Their hands are, however, tied on the question of Herceptin funding.</div> <bR> <div> Sue has been fighting her own corner - not being one to lay down and allow others to make decisions for her, she has so far appeared in a number of national news papers and on national BBC television news.  </div> <bR> <div> I felt that I needed to do something to help - this ride is to do two things - to raise funds and raise awareness.  'Nuff said.  Need more info ?
